Onderzoek leefstijlcoach in de krant

Naar aanleiding van het onderzoek van Celeste van Rinsum van Universiteit Maastricht naar het CooL-traject is er in het Algemeen Dagblad en de Limburger een artikel verschenen. De ondertitel, 'patiënten leren zelf te beslissen over gezondere leefstijl' dekt iets beter de lading dan 'Coach helpt dikkerds patat te laten staan'. Maar afgezien van deze wat stigmatiserende titel is de Academie voor Leefstijl en Gezondheid blij met de publiciteit rondom leefstijlcoaching: "De leefstijlcoach hielp de mensen daadwerkelijk gezonder te leven. Ze weten het gedrag te veranderen," stelt onderzoeker Celeste van Rinsum. "Mensen gingen gezonder eten, meer bewegen, voelden zich fitter en energieker."
